COLLECTION - Highlights of the Museum
The Museum of Army Flying is home to a nationally important collection of aeroplanes, gliders, helicopters and experimental aircraft. It holds a unique archive of photographs, documents, medals, uniforms and equipment relating to the development of Army aviation and the men and women who have contributed to this fascinating history.

The Museum of Army Flying Library and Archive Facilities:

The Museum holds an extensive archive of material on all aspects of Army flying, both technical and historical. The library holds a unique collection of publications on British Army Aviation and associated subjects, including ballooning, the Royal Flying Corps to the Glider Pilot Regiment, Air Observation Pilot Squadrons and the modern Army Air Corps.
The archive contains personal papers, flying log books, technical manuals, pilot’s notes and official documents. The Museum photographic collection is a unique resource, holding many rare and unpublished images.
The Library and Archives are accessible by prior appointment only.

Research Fees:
Library Visit £10 (incl VAT) includes access to Library and archive records, admission to the Museum and up to ten A4 photocopies.
Photographs 7’5” can be ordered @ £7.50 each.
