Our wide ranging collection is an effective resource for stimulating learning for all our visitors, whether self led or as part of a more structured workshop. Groups of all ages are welcome to the museum. Although at present our school service is focused at the Primary level, activities are available for under 5s and pre-school visits.

Much of the material in the museum links in with KS3 and KS4 history and can be used to enhance Citizenship and Science work. We aim to develop further services for learning in the future as more of our collection is put on show and on the internet.
