Teachers’ packs
A Teachers' Pack is available for each school booked to visit the museum.There are two Packs available; a Primary Teachers' Resource Pack with pre-visit and post-visit activities, and resources for schools booking a full day visit with the Education Officer, and a General Teachers' Pack for use by self-guided school visits to the museum.
Primary schools booking a self-guided visit will be sent activity sheets based around some of the exhibits only on request and are not included in the General Teachers' Resource Pack.
The free Teachers' Resource Packs are only available on a CD format.
Teacher Familiarisation Sessions
If you would like to find out more about the Primary Education Programme, the activities and workshops available (plus have a go yourself) and meet the Education Team, please book one of our Familiarisation Sessions.
Sessions are free and run throughout the summer as well as during term time. Sessions run for 2 and 1/2 hours and times are specified on the booking form.
