EDUCATION - Outreach

Let us visit you

At the Museum of Army Flying we are aware that it can be difficult for you to bring your classes to us. From the New Year it will be possible to arrange for a member of the education team to visit your school.

The visits are intended to add value to your Second World War class work and have been designed for KS1 and KS2.

Pupils will be able to examine artefacts including gas masks, helmets, a large scale model of a HORSA glider and an original Denison smock which they will be able to try on.

ICT @ MAF

The Museum of Army Flying’s new ICT suite has recently come on-line, with six computers linked to the Internet and state-of-the-art software packages.

The suite, part of our whole learning provision, can be used as an element of your workshop according to your requirements.
